All My Own Meal® shelf stable meals are kosher certified, fully cooked and ready to eat, as-is! Trained, on-site kosher supervisors (mashgiachem timidi) assure that our shelf stable meals contain only the kosher and glatt kosher ingredients approved by the Organization of Orthodox Kashruth Supervision. As participants in producing our meals, mashgiachem (supervisors) also verify that every process employed to cook and package our meals each day abides by the strict standards required of our kosher supervising agency.
Plan to store unopened and sealed My Own Meal® (MOM™) delicious kosher meals in the pantry, office, dry goods warehouse, dorm, hotel room, or pack them in a checked suitcase for travel. Our unopened and sealed shelf stable meals do not require refrigeration!
We produce our MOM™ Kosher meals with no artificial ingredients.
In production, we fill raw and partially-cooked ingredients into meal pouches or meal trays according to our own special recipes. Then we seal the trays and pouches and cook our meals in huge pressure cookers called retorts (a form of the canning process), which allows for a long shelf stable life without the use of artificial preservatives.
