1987
My Own Meals, Inc. becomes the recognized creator of the childrens
meals market with its line of natural meals specifically developed for the taste
and nutritional needs of children ages 2-10. My Own Meal® products
are sold through grocery stores and by mail order throughout the United States.
Organizations such as the Feingold Association which recommends products to parents
of hyperactive and allergy-prone children, the American Dietetics Association,
the Public Voice and others become supporters of the new emphasis on nutrition
and taste for children, instead of just food for fun.
1993
My Own Meals, Inc. introduces kosher My Own Meal®
brand adult meals, and adds religious certification to its childrens line.

Johnson Engineering Corporation (TX) purchases
My Own Meal® refrigeration-free meals destined for a Russian space
shuttle to Space Station Mir.

For the next 8 years, My Own Meals, Inc. President
is on the Board of Directors, Executive Board, and then Chairwoman of the Research
& Development Associates, Inc. Members of this organization include American
food manufacturers; food service providers; military officers and civilian procurement,
logistics, planning, testing and lab personnel; all branches of the armed forces
in the US, Canada, and UK; and Army Quartermaster School.
My Own Meals, Inc. introduces the first shelf stable, Passover meals for consumers
and Passover meals for military rations.
My Own Meals, Inc. creates and introduces the first Kosher certified
ration program (Meals Ready to Eat, or MRE's) into the US military system of rations.
This is an historic ration program in that it is:
- The first full kosher rations ever distributed by the US military
to men and women in the Armed Forces for field use meeting all US Surgeon General
nutritional requirements.
- The first ration comprised of all commercial products instead
military-unique items.
1999
My Own Meals, Inc. is the world leader in the manufacture, sales
and distribution of kosher-certified, refrigeration-free meals.
2001, September 11th
A day we remember...while the formidable resolve and indomitable
spirit of America and freedom live on. My Own Meals, Inc. actively supports American
men and women serving in the armed forces with its kosher rations.
2003

by the US military to civilians for Patriotic Service.

Philadelphia, Defense Logistics Agency awards My Own Meals, Inc. a Certificate
of Appreciation and for its support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation
Iraqi Freedom.

National Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers
awards President an honorary Doctorate of Food Service for My Own Meals, Inc.'s
work with the US military.

President retires as Chairwoman of Research
& Development Associates, Inc., a military and food industry organization
in support of all US Armed Forces.
2004
- Added dried papaya, pineapple and banana chips to military rations
- Added 9,000 square feet of assembly and warehousing space to accommodate increased military demand.
- My Own Meals, Inc. sells Passover meals to the US Military religious items contractor and MRE assembler for the first full Passover military-issued ration designed for the Seder and all eight days of Passover 2005
2005
- Added 31,640 square feet of warehouse space to facility.
- Temporarily added an additional 11,000 square feet of warehouse space to store ration components through April.
2006
- My Own Meal® Passover Beef Stew is in all MRE Seder kits for Pesach 2006.
- My Own Meals, Inc. implementing RFID (radio frequency identification) tag system to be operational by the fall of 2006.
2010
- My Own Meal® - becomes a General Services Administration (GSA) contractor under contract number GS-07F-0544W. The contract includes all My Own Meal® main course meals in both 10 oz trays and 8 oz pouches, and My Own Meal® kosher rations (Meals Ready to Eat, MREs). This opens My Own Meals, Inc.’s sales potential to multiple government customer groups.

My Own Meals, Inc. distributes religious meals to selected international militaries and government relief agencies on an as-needed basis. My Own Meals, Inc. typically works with its customer’s US freight forwarder to ship internationally.
Emergencies:
My Own Meals, Inc. continues to sell its meals to individuals, governments and institutions requiring meals for contingencies such as earthquakes, floods, forest fires and hurricanes. Several hospitals keep a supply on-hand for late or after-hours admittance.
Product Shipping:
Shipping is either via United Parcel Service (UPS), its Customer’s International container, Truckload, or Less Than Load (LTL) truck when applicable.
